'TIYAN TEEJ DIAN': A Resplendent Celebration of Tradition and Talent at CT University

The Department of Student Welfare at CT University hosted a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage through the event ‘TIYAN TEEJ DIAN’. This festive occasion highlighted the rich traditions of Punjab, brought to life by the enthusiastic participation of the university's esteemed faculty members.

The campus was adorned with colorful decorations that captured the spirit of Teej, creating a lively atmosphere. The Department of Design and Innovation set up traditional stalls featuring jewelry and mehndi, adding to the festive charm of the event.

A highlight of the celebration was the cultural performances, including Giddha and singing, where faculty members took center stage with their mesmerizing displays of Punjab’s rich cultural heritage.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the event was a captivating fashion show. Faculty members walked the ramp, adorned in traditional and contemporary Punjabi attire, showcasing the beauty and elegance of Punjab’s traditional clothing.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities, including Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean Academics Dr. Simran, and Director of the Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh, who expressed their appreciation for the faculty's enthusiastic participation.

Dean Academics Dr. Simran shared his thoughts on the event, stating, "'TIYAN TEEJ DIAN' was a beautiful blend of Punjab’s cultural heritage, celebrated with the enthusiasm and creativity of our faculty members."
