CT University Joins Hands with Punjab Police to Promote "ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ" Campaign.

Empowering Youth, Protecting Futures

In a continued effort to combat drug abuse and safeguard the future of youth, CT University has taken a proactive step by initiating a powerful awareness drive in support of the Punjab Police's campaign "ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ".

Originally launched by the Punjab Police, this campaign aims to educate and empower the youth against the perils of drug addiction and promote a healthier, drug-free lifestyle.

CT University’s involvement marks a significant contribution from the academic community in amplifying this mission and spreading awareness among students and the larger community.

The awareness initiative at CT University was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Anita Punj IPS (ADGP), Director of General Police Academy Phillaur, Dr. Ankur Gupta IPS, Senior Captain of Police, Ludhiana (Rural), Ramaninder Singh Deol Captain Police, (Local) Ludhiana (Rural), Surjit Singh Chief Officer Sadar Jagraon Police Station and Varinder Singh, DSP, Mullanpur.

University leadership including Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Mr. Sanjay Khanduri, Dean Academics Dr. Simarjeet Kaur Gill and Director Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh were present to show their unwavering support for the cause.

Ms. Anita Punj IPS emphasised the significance of educational institutions standing shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement in curbing the drug menace. She stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to build a resilient and drug-free society.

Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi reiterated the university’s dedication to youth empowerment and its commitment to creating a nurturing environment that encourages informed decision-making and healthy living.

This initiative adds to CT University’s ongoing efforts to foster a supportive and safe learning atmosphere. The university has previously collaborated with the Commissionerate of Police Ludhiana on wellness-focused events like the “Weekend of Wellness (WOW)” held at Rakh Bagh, Ludhiana.

Through this alignment with Punjab Police’s "ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ", CT University aims to inspire young minds to reject drugs and embrace a future full of potential and purpose.
