CT University Celebrates International Yoga Day

CT University’s Department of Student Welfare celebrated International Yoga Day with an enriching yoga session led by the esteemed Dr. Seema Parihar. The session saw enthusiastic participation from the faculty members, who embraced the path to holistic wellness and mindfulness.
The event focused on this year’s theme, "Yoga for Self and Society," symbolizing the comprehensive benefits of yoga for individual well-being and societal harmony. Dr. Parhar’s guidance highlighted the transformative power of yoga, particularly in the context of women empowerment. It created an atmosphere of tranquillity and rejuvenation, emphasizing the importance of yoga in daily life.
Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh graced the occasion, encouraging the audience to adopt yoga as a daily routine. He emphasized that regular yoga practice is essential for maintaining fitness and enhancing the immune system, contributing to a healthy life.
Director of the Department of Student Welfare, Er. Davinder Singh, said “Yoga is a transformative practice that brings harmony and well-being to individuals. It is essential for us to incorporate yoga into our lives to promote physical, mental, and spiritual balance."
The event was graced by Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, and Director of the Department of Student Welfare, Er. Davinder Singh.
