Important dates of Ph.D. Entrance Examination (CTPET July 2024)

1. Last date of Application: July 2, 2024
2. Date of Entrance Examination: July 7, 2024
3. Result of Examination: July 9 , 2024
4. Interview Date: July 14, 2024
5. Result of Interview: July 18, 2024
6. Last Date of Depositing Registration fee: July 28, 2024
7. Last Date of Depositing Semester fee: August 8, 2024

Ph.D. Guidelines

Pattern of Examination

The test duration is of 120 minutes and consists of 100 MCQ (multiple choice questions), 

The question paper will consists of two parts:

• Part A: 50 MCQ based on Research Methodology*
• Part B 50 MCQ based on subject specific.**

Note: Each question will carry 1 mark. There would be no negative mark for the wrong answer. The candidate should use Black/Blue ball point pen only

* As per syllabus (wherever applicable) of UGC NET/ GATE/GPAT/ICAR / Master level course.

Teaching Assistanship

Teaching Assistanship (Only for Ph.D students)

 All candidates admitted in Ph.D full time programs are eligible for teaching assistantship after successfully completing their course work. 

Note: Number of teaching assistantship is subject to the availability of seats within concerned department/school.
