CT University Celebrates International Youth Day with Vibrant Activities

CTU Clubs Under the aegis of the Department of Student Welfare, CT University organized a dynamic and engaging events on the occasion of International Youth Day. The day was filled with a plethora of activities designed to celebrate the vibrant spirit of youth and foster intellectual growth among students.

The event began with a Group Discussion on LGBTQIA+ issues, where students engaged in meaningful conversations about diversity, inclusion, and the challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. This session encouraged open dialogue, aiming to promote understanding and empathy among the youth.

In line with CT University's commitment to sustainability, the "Clean Campus, Green Future" initiative was also launched. Students participated in various activities to promote environmental awareness and took pledges to maintain a cleaner, greener campus.

A highlight of the day was the Debate Competition on the topic "Artificial Intelligence: Is the rise of AI more likely to create jobs than eliminate them for the youth?" Participants presented compelling arguments on both sides, showcasing their critical thinking and debating skills.

The celebration also included a range of indoor games that allowed students to unwind and showcase their strategic acumen. Competitions were held in Carom, Chess, and Table Tennis, with students enthusiastically participating and demonstrating their prowess.

Speaking on the occasion, CT University’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi stated, "International Youth Day is a significant event for CT University as it aligns with our mission to empower students and nurture their talents. Today's activities reflect the diverse interests and capabilities of our youth, and we are proud to provide them with a platform to grow and express themselves."
