CT University’s celebrates Janmashtami

CT University’s Department of Student Welfare hosted a spectacular Janmashtami celebration, marking the birth of Lord Krishna with vibrant festivities and cultural activities. It was a grand success, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff.

The celebration featured a Rangoli Competition, where participants showcased their artistic talents through colorful and intricate designs. The campus was beautifully decorated with these rangolis, adding a festive touch and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the event.

One of the key highlights of the day was the Dandiya and Dance Performances. Participants engaged in lively dandiya dances, performing with colorful sticks to the rhythm of traditional music. The energetic performances created a joyous and celebratory mood, embodying the spirit of Janmashtami.

Another major attraction was the Matki Phod, a traditional activity where participants broke an earthen pot filled with goodies. This exhilarating event added an element of excitement and fun to the celebration, reflecting the cultural significance of the festival.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi said, “The successful execution of these activities demonstrated the vibrant cultural life at CT University and fostered a strong sense of community among attendees. The event not only celebrated Janmashtami but also strengthened the university's commitment to providing a dynamic and engaging environment for its students.”
