CT University Observes 'Black Day,' Unites Against Rising Rape Cases in India

CT University stood in solidarity on 'Black Day,' organizing a significant rally on campus under the theme "DEMAND JUSTICE AND ADVOCATE FOR SAFETY AND DIGNITY FOR ALL." This event marked the university's stand against the rising cases of sexual violence in India, with a collective call for justice, safety, and dignity for every individual.

The rally witnessed the active participation of students, faculty, and university management, all of whom donned black attire as a symbol of their united front against injustice. The event featured a compelling visual display of student-created posters with the theme 'From Fear to Freedom: Break the Chains of Sexual Violence,' underscoring the university's commitment to spreading awareness about sexual awareness.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of CT University, addressed the gathering, stating, “Today, we stand together not just as an academic institution but as a force for change.”

Joining this noble cause were Dr. Simranjit Kaur Gill, Dean of Academics; Er. Davinder Singh, Director of Student Welfare, and various Heads of Departments stood shoulder to shoulder with the students and faculty, advocating for a more respectful and secure society.
