CT UNIVERSITY CELEBRATED INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY Mayor of Ludhiana, Ms. Inderjit Kaur, Graces the Occasion

CT University celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event, organised by the Department of Student Welfare, aimed to empower women and enrich lives.

The guest of honour, Ms. Inderjit Kaur, Mayor of Ludhiana, graced the occasion with her presence. The event commenced with a panel discussion on "Understanding Women: What They Wish Men Knew." The discussion aimed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of women's perspectives and experiences.

The panel consisted of esteemed guests, including Dr. Shruti Kakkar, Clinical Haematologist at CMC, Ludhiana; Ms. Ravleen Kaur, renowned blogger; Adv. Harleen Kaur, advocate and Ms. Inderjit Kaur, Mayor of Ludhiana.

Ms. Inderjit Kaur, Mayor of Ludhiana, emphasised the importance of women's empowerment and education. She stated, "Women are the backbone of our society and it's essential that we provide them with equal opportunities and support to help them grow and thrive."

Er. Davinder Singh, Director, Student Welfare, CT University, emphasised the significance of celebrating International Women's Day. He stated, "This day serves as a reminder of the progress we've made towards achieving gender equality and the work that still needs to be done."

During the celebration, CT University honoured 15 women, including students, who made extraordinary contributions to society in various fields, recognising their dedication, hard work and positive impact on the community.

The event was attended by Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Registrar Mr. Sanjay Khanduri and Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill, among other dignitaries.
