CT University Celebrates World Book Day with a Purpose

Book Donation Drive to Share the Joy of Reading with Those in Need

CT University is thrilled to announce its celebration of World Book Day, organised by the Department of Student Welfare. This year, the university is taking a step forward to promote literacy and a love for reading among underprivileged communities.

A Book Donation Drive has been launched, inviting students, faculty, and staff to donate books and share the joy of reading with those in need.

To make this initiative a success, students were engaged in an exciting activity where they got to choose books for donation. This not only helped them develop a sense of social responsibility but also instilled in them the value of sharing knowledge.

The event saw the presence of esteemed faculty members, including Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill and Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur, Head of the Department of Management Studies.

Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon expressed his delight over the initiative, saying, "World Book Day is not just about celebrating books; it's about spreading the joy of reading and promoting literacy. CT University is committed to making a positive impact in the community, and this Book Donation Drive is a step in that direction."

Director Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh added, "We believe that education is the key to empowerment, and books play a vital role in shaping young minds. This initiative will not only benefit the underprivileged but also sensitize our students about the importance of giving back to the community."

The Book Donation Drive is a testament to CT University's commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to promote literacy and education. We invite everyone to join hands and make this initiative a success.
