We all are aware that petrol Prices are increasing rapidly and going to touch 100 Rupee per litre in Punjab. Considering today’s scenario, we came up with an idea to switch to E-Bike. Rahul Thareja of B.Tech 1 year (Robotics and Automation) and Satyam Gupta of BCA 2nd year has built this cost-effective E-Bike under 15000 Indian rupees only under the guidance of Dr. Harmeet Singh, Er. Inderjeet Singh, Er. Dinesh Kumar and Lab Technician Gurkirat Singh. Dr. Harmeet Singh added,” This E-Bike has a range of 30Km in a single battery charge and a top speed of 28Km/hr. We have used a motor of 24v 250 watts and a Battery of 24V 12.5 Ampere. The speed and the range of the bike be increased by changing the motor and the battery.” The whole structure of the E-Bike was built in the university itself within 1 week. This E-Bike is fully Customisable according to the shape as well as carrying capacity. The next electric vehicle on which we are working is 2-seater E-Car.
