CT University Hosts Successful Weekend of Wellness at Rakh Bagh Ludhiana

CT University, in collaboration with the Commissionerate of Police Ludhiana, orchestrated a vibrant and engaging Weekend of Wellness (WOW) at Rakh Bagh Ludhiana, advocating for the pursuit of healthy living and fitness among citizens of all ages.

The event, which took place on a sunny Sunday morning from 6 am to 9 am, transformed Rakh Bagh into a hub of vitality and vigor, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds to partake in an array of activities aimed at promoting health, fitness, and communal joy.

Under the esteemed patronage of Inspector Sukwinder Singh, SHO Model Town, Ludhiana, and graced by (Inspector) Sudagar Ali, former PCR Incharge Ludhiana, the WOW-Weekend of Wellness became a celebration of wellness and camaraderie.

Participants delved into a plethora of activities, from spirited Bhangra and energetic Zumba sessions to exhilarating basketball matches and serene yoga practices. The event encapsulated the spirit of togetherness and vitality, fostering an environment where individuals could engage in recreational pursuits while fostering a sense of unity within the community.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi underscored the significance of the event, highlighting its role in encouraging individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles through activities such as walking, cycling, and fitness-related exercises.

SHO Sukwinder Singh reiterated the importance of maintaining a healthy body and emphasized the collective effort in creating a drug-free Punjab, echoing the sentiments echoed by the event's participants and organizers alike.

The resounding success of the event was made possible through the unwavering support of various partners, including Hero Cycles, Decathlon, MUMMy WEB ERP, Janotra Convent School, Dreamland Public School, Elevate Wellness Club, Dragon Bhangra Academy, Waheguru Blood Sewa, Karayat Defence Academy, Ahmedgarh Paddlers, National Chamber Of Education & Development, Everest Yoga Institute, and Mandeep Cricket Academy, among others.

The presence of distinguished dignitaries including Vice-Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean Academics Dr. Simran, Director Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh, Amandeep Tangri Additional Director Department of Admissions, along with faculty and students, further added to the grandeur of the occasion.
