Panel Interview Mock Drive for B.Tech-Semester VI students
A Panel Interview Mock Drive was conducted for students of B.Tech-Semester VI( CSE-all specializations/Mech/Civil Engg). 60 Students of pre final year participated and took feedback on their preparedness in domain knowledge , skills sets and professional attitude. The mock drive was facilitated by the Professional Enhancement Cell and the placement unit of Corporate Resource Centre. The organising team recorded one to one mapping of the students in the direction of Strength & Weakness to work upon in pre placement training sessions.


The panel consisted of two external experts from Center for Career Planning and Counselling (CCPC), CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology, Shahpur Campus and internal experts such as the Head of School of Engg. & Technology , Corporate Trainers from Corporate Resource Centre(CRC), Professional Enhancement Cell(PEC).


The conduct of the drive and overall student performance was observed for quality checks by CT University’s Training and Placement Officer and Faculty mentor -Coordinator for placements.


Speaking to the students on the occasion as the Panel Chair, Vice Chancellor (off) , Dr. Satish Kumar said that this mock drive is vital and aims to enhance their preparation for placements, be it for internship or for employment. Mr. Rajesh Kapoor, Director, Corporate Resource Centre said that this initiative of Corporate Resource Centre intends to provide students a live experience of facing a Panel Interview & to provide feedback to the students. He said that CRC will regularly conduct mock drives for pre final and final year students of the nine schools in the university.
