ABOUT SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES- CT UNIVERSITY
The School of Health Sciences strives to provide a technologically advanced, ultra-modern, academically and socially vibrant campus that offers a safe and supportive educational environment for all. SOHS is Multi-disciplinary, student-centric, Industry driven & research-focused School offering a full range of academic programs at the diploma, undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral levels. The School has tied up with MAX Super Specialty Hospital Mohali, IVY Health & Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd, Indus Healthcare, Sankara Eye Hospital, Mohandai Oswal Hospital etc. for programs involving Optometry, MLT, RIT,OT/AT, BPT, BPH, ICT, EMT, Forensic Sciences, Nutrition and Deictics, Clinical Research, etc. Students are doing research work in labs under earn while learn concept. Students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU Ambassadors that should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students. The School has also implemented NPTEL, IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial, Virtual Labs, Internshala, in the University through MOOCS concept to provide free online education and certification. For Social Outreach: introduced ‘CT Clinical Complex’, to provide diagnostic services, pathology lab, physiotherapy services, joint pain treatment and digital x-ray. Also, provides free healthcare service to the residents of the adjoining villages by organizing free medical camps. The University has set-up a Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS) in which Students will be provided hands-on-training for 50 hours per Semester.

To create an environment for holistic development of learners by strengthening student centric welfare activities in pursuit of building socially.
The vision of School of Health Sciences is to be known globally as a School of Excellence that provides transformative educational experience, creating positive societal impact through establishment of global centers of higher learning in emerging healthcare areas in pursuit of academic excellence, innovation and entrepreneurship by constant endeavors.

Our whole educational system, from the elementary schools to the universities, is increasingly turning out people who have never heard enough conflicting arguments to develop the skills and discipline required to produce a coherent analysis, based on logic and evidence. The implications of having so many people so incapable of confronting opposing arguments with anything besides ad hominem responses reach far.
