The SOHPE has the vision to develop a comprehensive outlook of an individual with a strong civic position, moral qualities, and sense of responsibility and to develop an initiative to prepare independent and tolerant person who is able to successfully socialise and to promote effective professional activities. Apart from this, the School will encourage students to gain and develop knowledge, conceptual understanding, research skills, analytical and interpretive skills and communication skills and contributing to the development of the students as a whole. Humanities aim to encourage students to respect and understand the world around them and to provide a skills base to facilitate further study. This is achieved through the study of individuals, societies and environment in a wide context: historical, contemporary, geographical, political, social, economic, religious, technological and cultural.
