Ph.D Entrance Examination December, 2018

1. Last date of Application: December 3, 2018.

2. Date of Examination: December 9, 2018.

3. Result of Examination : December 12, 2018.

4. Interview Date : December 15, 2018.

5. Result of Interview : December 15, 2018.

6. Last Date of Depositing Registration fee : December 20, 2018.

The test duration is of 120 minutes and consists of 100 MCQ (multiple choice questions), The question paper will consists of two parts:

 

Part  A

 50 MCQ based on Research  Methodology*

Note: Each question will carry 1 mark. There would be no negative mark for the wrong answer. The candidate should use Black/Blue ball point pen only

HOW TO APPLY

PhD Entrance Examination 2018

Application form can be obtained and submitted using one of the following options:

  1. The application form can be downloaded from here or the applicant can buy the prospectus 2018 from the university campus after paying cash at accounts department.
  2. The application fee (Non Refundable) for CTPET December 2018 is Rs. 1000/ (one thousand only).
  3. The payment mode for submitting the application fee can be through RTGS/NEFT/Demand Draft. Account details of the University are:

  1. The duly filled form specifying the program applied for e.g. PhD Computer Science on the backside of the sealed envelope is required to be submitted at the CT University campus OR by hand/ post mentioning the program applied at the backside of the envelope to the mailing address:

  1. Scanned copy of the duly filled form along with the fee payment receipt (Snapshot of payment made) can also be mailed to ctpet@ctuniversity.in and the applicant should mention the program name in the mail subject e.g. PhD English and also before scanning the application form applicant should mention the transaction ID on the application form.
  1. Applicants will be required to submit the original filled form along with the fee payment receipt before appearing for the entrance exam at the examination centre.

Important:

  • Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
  • Applicant should mention the valid mail id and mobile number as all future communication including the issue of hall ticket will be through email only.

TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP (Only for Ph.D students)

All candidates admitted in Ph.D full time programs are eligible for teaching assistantship after successfully completing their course work.

Note: Number of teaching assistantship is subject to the availability of seats within concerned department/school.
