CTU Technology Business Incubator Foundation (CTUBIF)

To reinforce entrepreneurship & start-up ecosystem, the CT University, Ludhiana, is operating a Technology Business Incubator at its campus, as a self-governing unit of the University.  It was established in 2019 to host Technology Business Incubator.

The Incubator has its own Board of Directors with Dr Harsh Sadawarti (Vice Chancellor, CT University) as the Chairman, Dr Jagtar S Dhiman, (Registrar, CT University) as co-chairman,  Dr Sukhdev Singh (Dean-Research & Innovation) as  the Coordinator-cum-Director of CTUTBIF. The other members on the Board of Directors are from Industries and academia of the region.  The Head of different  Schools (HoSs) of CT University are the Members of the Incubator.

Infrastructure wise, the CTUTBIF comprises co-working spaces as well as exclusive fully furnished offices for incubates, along with some common amenities such as conference room, pantry and central laboratory. There is provision of conveniences  such as ramps, slopes, lifts for special need persons.

The CTUTBIF has constituted a Project Evaluation and Monitoring Cell (PME Cell), which evaluates the research proposals as per the SOP of the CTUTBIF. The Research Innovation Centre for Excellence (RICE) gathers ideas from innovative minds through student members of Young Researchers Clubs of the University.

The CTUTBIF caters to the incubation and mentoring needs of the future entrepreneurs of the Punjab and the Nation. It  has the following thrust areas:
